Join us for a FREE hitting clinic at the all-new, state-of-the-art Hooperstown baseball and softball training facility! The FREE hitting clinic will take place on Saturday Feb. 7. Boys and girls ages 6-9 are scheduled to hit from 1:00-1:45 p.m. Children ages 10-13 will hit from 2:15-3:00 p.m. Registration for the FREE clinic will be limited to the first 10 children in each age group. 21st Century Sports is excited to announce their official tryout dates and times for the 2010 spring and summer seasons. All tryouts will be conducted at the Omni Fitness Complex (872 Pelham Parkway) in Pelham, N.Y. For directions, please visit www.omnicomplex.com or call 914.738.2200.
Tryout dates and times for all of our teams, which will TRAIN AND COMPETE LOCALLY - RIGHT HERE IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY EACH WEEK - are as follows:
Sunday 1.17.10
5-6 p.m.: Ages 9-12
6-7 p.m.: Ages 13-14
Sunday 1.24.10
5-6 p.m.: Ages 9-12
6-7 p.m.: Ages 13-14
A maximum of only 15 players per tryout will be accepted in order to conduct a thorough evaluation of each player trying out. Like any sport showcase, all tryout participants will be asked to pay a minimal fee of $10 to highlight their skills. The refundable fee will be credited to all those who are selected to a 21CS team in 2010.

posted 10/12/2009 OFFICIAL 2009-10 WINTER ACADEMY INFORMATION RELEASED
Our 2009-10 Winter Training Academy program and schedule information has been released in full! Our Winter Training Academy consists of hour-long skill clinics that teach players the fundamentals and advanced techniques of college and pro-style baseball and softball hitting, pitching & catching, fielding and sport-specific conditioning & fitness.
Our 2009-10 Winter Training Academy will have sport-specific programs for both baseball and softball players. That is, baseball and softball programs will be conducted independent of each other: Baseball players will receive baseball-specific instruction, and softball players will receive softball-specific instruction.

posted 09/12/2009 2009 IS FINE FOR 21CS' VARSITY TEAMS!
Congratulations is in order for a host of 21CS Varsity Team Members! The Varsity teams for many of 21st Century Sports' Program Members captured championships during their high school seasons.
- Mamaroneck Tigers Baseball-21CS Coach Mike Chiapparelli (Head Coach): The Tigers won their second consecutive N.Y.S. Class AA title. This accomplishment is so impressive that it is only the secnod time in N.Y.S. baseball history that a team has won back-to-back state titles!
- Saunders Baseball, 21CS Coach Bill Consiglio (Assistant Coach): The Blue Devils were undefeated in league play and earned the fifth-best record in Section I Class AA en route to a school-record 15 wins and .750 winning percentage.
- Kennedy Catholic, 21CS Coach Rich Moran (Assistant Coach): The defending state champions once again reached the Section I Class B finals before falling to Dobbs Ferry in another outstanding year.
- Yorktown Baseball, 21CS Coach & Vp of Summer Camp Operations, Sean Kennedy (Head Coach): The Huskers' baseball team scored a "5-12" upset when they defeated the Saunders Blue Devils in the Section I playoffs. They went on to lose 7-6 in an extra innings thriller against 4th seeded Fox Lane, who in turn lost to eventual state champion Mamaroneck.

The Brakettes Are Coming, The Brakettes Are Coming........
21st Century Sports is excited to announce the formation of an official partnership with the Connecticut Brakettes, the 2007 Amateur Softball Association's (ASA) Women's Pro Fastpitch NATIONAL CHAMPION. Current and former Brakette players include tens of Olympians and All-Americans, including nearly 20 players in the ASA Hall of Fame. The partnership is designed to increase exposure of softball's premier franchise to our young local players while providing top-flight instruction - in the form of year-round camps and clinics - to multiple sites right here in New York beginning in Fall 2008.
